🛒 Ingredients (makes about 16 bites)
5.3 oz (150 g) kataifi dough
3 tbsp (45 g) unsalted butter
1/2 cup (120 ml) coconut cream
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup (20 g) unsweetened shredded coconut, for rolling
Optional: Crushed pistachios or white chocolate drizzle for topping
🍴 Instructions
Toast the Kataifi Shred the kataifi and toast in a nonstick pan with butter until golden and crisp (about 7–10 minutes). Let cool completely.
Make the Coconut Cream In a small bowl, mix the coconut cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Form the Bites Gently combine the cooled kataifi with the coconut mixture. Shape into small balls using your hands or a cookie scoop.
Coat and Chill Roll each bite in shredded coconut. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to set. Garnish with crushed pistachios or drizzle with melted white chocolate if desired.
